This is a very quiet place with great location. Less than 10min walks to Woolworths and bus stops for all 4 buses, so handy taking 50A, 50B every 15min, which goes to museum, Tantalus, Oyster Inn etc. We lived in the Guest Room & Bordeaux Apartment. The Guest Room has panoramic sea and vineyard views. I found WiFi signals good too, nice shower water pressure, both rooms have air conditioning. The owner Dave is very friendly and helpful, he even gave us a lift to the ferry. Strongly recommended.
Wish I could give less than one star for this review. The city of Auckland recently experienced extenuating circumstances where it was shut down due to flooding which prevented travel both into Auckland and Waiheke Island. After years of planning/delaying our trip due to Covid, the weather cancelled our flight preventing us from visiting Auckland altogether. Le Chalet was not flexible at all with this and refused to issue any kind of refund and have been the only company who refused to offer any kind of support. Learn from my mistake and choose to do your business with a company who prioritizes their customers - avoid Le Chalet at all costs.
We loved our experience at Le Chalet in Waiheke. Heidi and Steve were fantastic to deal with, our rooms were lovely and modern yet had a homely feel to them. The view was great and the pool area a fantastic place to relax.
A beautiful part of New Zealand. Hosts were very accommodating when I had to change my dates. Really appreciated their help. Recommended.
Beautifull guesthouse on lovely Waiheke. Nice People. Good food& wines all around you.
