We love the view from the sitting area. The scenery outside was like a postcard picture. We made the right decision to takeaway dinner and sat in the dining area to enjoy the breathtaking view. The downside is that there isn't a washing machine and drier. Such a unit will be much appreciated especially for those who are touring the country like us who are from overseas. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the tools needed. But we wonder why there is no paper towel for the kitchen and sponge to wash some utensils.
Stayed for one night as we passed thru Tekapo. Unit really well laid out. Amazing view of the lake and mountains beyond. Cleverly designed sleeping area was private and ability to lie in bed and see the night sky. Excellent bathroom. Could not fault this property sitting out front with a glass of wine watching the day conclude.Rooms: 5/5
Amazing view of the lake and mountains. Sky light above the bed allowed us to see the stars as we unwound from the days travel. All the amenities the room provided were top notch. We will stay again if back in NZ.Rooms: 5/5
Absolutely beautiful The studio is such a homely space with convenience at the forefront. It is clean and it is very comfortable. The view was to die for. A very peaceful stay. I really enjoyed staying here. The only downfall I would say is when we turned on the heat pump it made this most awful smell. We let it run for about half an hour thinking it would stop it did not. Because it was quite late when we turned it on we didn’t want to call the number available so instead did in the morning. The female was quite rude to my mother. I didn’t appreciate that. However previously anything to do with the booking Vickie had been amazing. Apart from that it would of been a 10/10 stay
Great location. Beautiful view of and access to the lake. We were still jet-lagged so this was a great spot just to hang out and catch up on some rest. It's very close to town, but a serene spot away from the business district. Loved it!Rooms: 5/5
Our studio was immaculate and so clean, supplied with all added amenities needed for a short stay. Great view of the lake at the front door. We had a small issue with the TV and Steve was very helpful in sorting this for us. Highly recommend just FabulousRooms: 5/5
We absolutely loved our apartment and we’re sad to leave! It is beautifully furnished and pristine clean! We had everything we needed… a washing machine would have been helpful as we are on a round the world trip. However I would recommend this without hesitation .Rooms: 5/5
Fantastic studio ,best we have stayed in on South Island. Great to have a small patio with couple of chairs looking out to the lake,it’s a real sun trap there. Everything you could possibly need in this studio. We had an issue with a wet carpet,the owners could not have been kinder. Brought blowers in the next day while we were out and about so as not to disturb us. It all got sorted and on top of this gave us 25% off our first night,2 free passes to the hot springs and then left us a bottle of wine. SO SO kind..it’s also very close to restaurants and supermarket,only 5 minute drive away.
Husband and I stayed here for one night but l thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Things that really stick out to us we’re the multitude of USB charging ports, google lights/home, spectacular view, skylight above the bed but has a remote controlled blinds to close, and super soft bed linens. The only thing I’d have to say is if you don’t have a car, it would be about a 20 min walk into town where the restaurants and shops are. We had one so it wasn’t a big deal but honestly the view makes up for it anyways!
Lakeview is a little out of town which is perfect for some peace and quiet as Lake Tekapo is a busy place for such a small town. It is walking distance to town but we chose to drive. We loved the room which had everything we needed for our two night stay. We didn’t hear the neighbours at all except when we were both outside which is expected. The views from the room are incredible, not only from the front of the apartment but the velux sky light above the bed is awesome to lie under the stars in the warmth of your bed. The tech in the room is great and well thought through for those who use it. We will be buying some of the same lamps for our house! The only downside is that we had to leave! We will definitely be back again one day.
