Two scale model Solar Systems:
one you can negotiate on foot
one spread throughout the Mackenzie High Country of New Zealand.
The centerpiece is a 13.92-metre diameter Sun with an interactive tile mosaic Sundial. This is built to scale for the large model Solar System. At this scale the nearest star to our Sun would be on the Moon.
The project is a work in progress, currently awaiting the spring thaw to continue.
This page is also a work in progress, and will largely consist of a photo album documenting our progress.
