Lake Tekapo Rakinui Restaurant

The room we had was amazing. Everything was clean. What you use in the bathroom, they recycle. We had an amazing view from the bottom and the top where our room was. Restaurant and bar were very accommodating and lovely to deal with.

Overall experience is good. Friendly staff, rooms are clean but way too small. For some reason they request guest's credit card details when checking in, and it isn't clear who has the access to this data when you leave. Of course I refused to provide it. Not the best way to welcome your customers after a long drive.

Awesome stay! was initially meant to stay elsewhere but so glad we chose to stay here, we were upgraded rooms - which had a kitchen and lounge which was awesome. But highlight of stay was the breakfast buffet which was the best of our South Island travels and unexpected. Look forward to staying here again.
