This biggest freshwater lake in Australasia is somewhere you really don't want to miss it.nnIt's about the size of Singapore, can you imagine how big is that?nnAfter many years I finally had another chance to come back and visit.nnI still remember the first time I walk along the lake side, but I guess I was staying on the other side of the lake not the city side here.
Vast lake with a resort town with accommodation, bars, restaurants and shops. The lake has a nice promenade along the front from the town centre heading south. Lovely to walk along and see the many resident black swans. Stunning at sunset.

Great place with magnificent views over the lake. Also the small town has a lot of nice restaurants and bars with a good vibe. The park is also very nice with some stone sculptures. A beautiful region for sure.
