The first place to come for a range of quality second hand goods at great prices. Our shop is open 7 days a week, Monday to Sunday 10am till 4pm. Closed on Public Holidays.
Lake Taupo and Turangi hospice shops are packed full of fantastic second hand quality goods such as clothing, small electrical appliances, kitchen and sports gear as well as books, art, toys games, puzzles and linen.
We rely on the generosity of people donating quality goods and when they're sold it helps hospice maintain its 24/7 free-of-charge services to our patients and their families in the Taupo district.
Volunteering at the shop is a wonderful opportunity to get work experience, meet new people and help hospice. Shifts are usually three hours and volunteers help sort and price donated goods, sell in sort or help with pick-ups and deliveries.
Lake Taupo Hospice must fundraise at least $500,000 each year for its operating budget and the shop contributes a significant amount towards this.
