The Lake Taupo Across the Lake Swim started back in 1963 and is Taupo’s longest running event, with thousands of swimmers taking part over the years. This iconic Taupo event is organised by the Rotary Club of Lake Taupo and any proceeds from the day will go towards community projects in the region.
The event provides those competing in the Ironman the opportunity to have a training run. The swim makes up part of the Erin Baker, Cameron Brown and TriTaupo 4 awards.
