Double room. Worst hostel ever. I did about 15 hostels in nz for the same price and all there other were really nice. We decided to go with an Airbnb instead. Camping style facilities, exterior toilets/showers. Go elsewhere if you don’t camp and maybe camp elsewhere?. The kitchen was so smelly.
One of the worst sleeps I’ve had. I’ve never slept on such an uncomfortable, bendy, noisy mattress. Double just a double! Not a queen was sold to us as a king. Run down facilities, terrible bathrooms and paper thin walls. Just camp instead.
