Great experience and service for my first time visit here at La Beaute N & S.  My esthetician, Gloria was sweet and professional. She took her time when doing my manicure. I felt luxurious. Going with the flow of the spa experience, I decided to get the 10 minute massage after my nails and it was great.  Gloria definitely went a few minutes past 10 to make sure I was completely relaxed. I highly recommend spending the extra $17 for the added touch.  The shop is clean, well lit and organized. It has a newer look and feel.  I will return for more services. Also great that they provide a punch card to earn free services after so many visits.

Tried La Beaute because my normal place was closed and left with the worst dip powder manicure I have ever gotten, not to mention at the incredibly overpriced cost of $100. Don’t get me wrong, they were so nice there and the place was very well kept/clean, but their ability to do dip powder and their defensiveness about my dissatisfaction with them being because of the color I chose a dark red was very frustrating. I’ve been getting red dip powder manicures for four years now and have not once ever had a problem with manicurists making my nails look natural from drilling them down to reduce all bulkiness after applying the layers of powder. Even after asking my nail tech who I think runs the place - Eugene to use the drill to make my nails look less bulky at least three different times after his first pass at them, after which he felt satisfied with them each consecutive time and I still was not, it became clear that La Beaute simply is not well trained in dip powder. What was most frustrating despite their niceness was that at the price of $100 they merely didn’t seem to know what a good dip powder manicure was supposed to look like because even after staying an extra hour for them to keep trying to make me happier with them, I left with my nails still so bulky and not at all how I like them, yet my nail tech thinking they looked great and were exactly what I wanted. My nails look and feel like large globs of red shiny glue. Elevated completely off my nail beds to a very tacky degree. They’re also bumpy and not even consistently shaped as almond as I asked for. Other places in the city, even relatively expensive ones, charge at most $60 with nail extension tips for dip powder in my experience. Imagine hating your nails after spending a whopping $100. They didn’t even cut my cuticles..? Lol. Want my money back.Services:&nbsp;Dip powder

I loved this salon the first couple times that I went, the staff really did great work and took care of my gel manicure. Unfortunately my experience ends there and I probably won't be coming back again after tonight. A technician named Agnes did my manicure tonight and I was really disappointed. She made me bleed 4x, filed down my nails into crooked mismatched shapes and left all of the edges jagged. I also don't think the gel was cured long enough. After I left my nails looked worse then when I came in and the jagged edges are snagging on my clothes. I am really sad to leave this review but I feel this needs to be a warning to other customers.Services:&nbsp;Manicure

I think your experience here depends on the technician you have. I’ve had a number of pedicures and manicures here and the quality and care varies. I’m posting a review as I was really disappointed with my pedicure today. Because I asked for the normal pedicure  rather than the more expensive ones from the menu that the technician wanted me to pay for she gave me the most speedy pedicure I’ve ever had. She made no effort to remove dry skin from my heels/soles- literally spent a couple of seconds rubbing my feet and then everything else was done at break neck speed. On previous occasions the basic $42 pedicure has been a perfectly lovely experience with time and care taken. She couldn’t wait to be rid of me!Service:&nbsp;Pedicure

I got an almond shape gel manicure that cost $120. So yeah, the prices are a BIT high almost double what I’m used to but I really needed a good quality manicure and my tech paid attention to detail. Great service. I can’t figure out how to add a photo  Nails are a bit bumpy but I’ll survive.  UPDATE: SAME DAY NAIL BROKE! Literally 24 hours later. Seriously, Avoid this place. The staff was always in a rush, prioritizing speed over quality. She hurt my finger and claimed that “you want me to cut”, and attempted to put on the nail polish while I was still BLEEDING!!!! At the end I paid $134 for gel nails that looked bumpy.

I went in for a pedicure on Friday after work and inquired about facial treatments while I was there. I ended up deciding to do a facial after I had my pedicure done, both of which were amazing! Gloria was able to do both my pedicure and my facial. She did an amazing job as an aesthetician and I highly recommend her. The pedicure included an awesome lavender gel soak. The facial was so soothing, including gentle music, a facial steam, massage, extraction, and various products that were applied to my face. Two days later as I am writing this review, my face feels refreshed and really looks rejuvinated. I will definitely be back.Services:&nbsp;Facial treatments

When I’m in town and in need of a mani/pedi, this is where I go. They always do a great job and my manicure looks great for a week! I love their massages. They get in deep, which is perfect for me.  Everyone is super friendly, like it matters that you’re there.Services:&nbsp;Pedicure

I received a massage here and my masseuse was skilled, but my issue is that i asked prior to the massage about the price for 60 minutes and was told that it was $60. I actually asked twice to confirm, and she said again, $60. After the massage, they said it was $130 and insisted that i pay the full amount despite having told me a different price before. So i was immediately stressed and tense again after my massage because i did not know that i was receiving a service that was over twice the amount i expected to spend. Also i got my nails done here a few weeks prior and was disappointed with the quality.
