Ordered online at 6:56 pm , should arrived by 7:41pm and didn't, received the food at 8:30!!!! The fries...FRIES?! DISGUSTING... $6 for this quantity is ok because we understand is a restaurant, I'm so sorry guys for this but can't believe that you send food looking like this, they were black because of the burnt/old oil, they look old ... we couldn't eat them, straight to the bin The rice was tasteless, ordered plain naan and we received garlic ... We used to order here before, because food and service WAS good , but now is just a waste of time ... So sad because I paid $60 for " eat good" and was just a rage moment for us.
There is a very large selection of food in my opinion, the place looks really nice and it is quite good to go there and have a nice evening. However, even though the food is okay the customer service and staff is what is really pulling up the stars because in terms of food its maybe 3.
Highly recommend! Incredibly delicious food my favorite is the Butter Chicken with friendly staff. The Mango Lassi was perfect, made with real mango! I'll be back here again soon!
Had been craving butter chicken all day. I walked in and was welcomed and seated next to the entrance. After a while, I felt cold as the door was open and asked the server if I could switch tables to a free one on the other side of the restaurant. I was told no, as it was a table for large groups. I ordered Butter Chicken and I was surprised how quickly it arrived, within 15 minutes or so. Once I tasted it, I knew why. It definitely tasted reheated. The sauce had the consistency of being reheated in a frypan as some of it was a bit hard, as if being scraped off the side of the frypan. I think when the sauce was reheated, the chef didn't whisk it, as the sauce was not consistent. However it still tasted good. The portion was good, as I couldn't finish it. Upon paying, I asked the waiter when the butter chicken was made. He said it was fresh and I told him it did not taste fresh. I did feel sorry for the man though, because although the restaurant wasn't full, there were quite a few people there for one waiter. Food was good, not great. May try again another time, on a different day and choose a different meal when there will probably be a different chef.
Nice curries offered here. It's not fussy but the staff are nice and I always enjoy the food. My son loves the butter paneer and the chicken madras is my go to dish. Reasonable prices and friendly, what more could you ask for.
I ordered veg samosa and before paying i have clearly asked one of the staff and she confidently said we make it now. But they just heated stale ones in owen and packed in aluminium foil. The samosa was soft which meant to be crispy and curry was cold. Its certainly not worth of $7.5 for two samosas. I am a regular customer here and never had bad experience except this time. Nice staff and service, but needs improvement in other aspects.
Warm and inviting decor. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Friendly and very helpful staff. Service was fast and we had lovely warm plates to start off our meal. Wide selection of foods, catering to everyone. Vegetarians and Vegans would be very well cared for eating here as the menu for them is impressive and has plenty of variety. Meat was tender, fell off of the bone and the meals had a traditional authentic flavour - Not heaps of sugar and cream which was refreshing to see. Pricing is very reasonable considering the large portion sizes and exquisite quality of the food. This is the only Indian restaurant in West Auckland that has truely won my heart. I'm never eating anywhere else when I fancy a tasty, authentic Indian meal! Thank you Raag! I had a wonderful evening and I'll be back with all my friends very soon!
Want good indian food find another place!!!!! Do not eat here over priced and rubbish quality dish was not indian hot like I ordered more like a milded, chicken was also burnt, took an extremely long time to prepare 2 basic dishes only provided 1 small rice for both dishes, garlic nun was the smallest iv ever seen and even when I requested extra garlic there was next to none on the bread extremely unhappy with this service wouldn't recommend these guys to enyone if I wasn't so hungry from waiting I would of driven back for a refund obviously will never eat here again
Great service and delicious food, looking forward to returning.
Love the place,it's a beautiful place and the food is good.People who work there are also friendly.
