Can spend hours here exploring around the rocks. There is a high fenced area which you can also explore but there is only one gate so you can’t pass through the other side, no path through south of the nature preserve. Make sure to use sunscreen and take water.
What a wicked place, my boys and I loved exploring all the different rocks
So cool, you can climb on all the rocks i love it and could have spent hours there. The view is amazing And no picture will be like seeing it

Such a wild and fascinating place to explore. So many paths that lead to incredible rock formations and breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and hill country Station. Take a picnic and plan to spend a few hours taking it all in.
Limestone rock formations 30-40 million years old carved and sculptered by glaciers and the constant erosion of the rain and wind. The Castle Hill boulders reminded early settlers of a fortified castle, hence its derived name. A short 10 minute walk from the Great Alpine Highway 7.
I wish we had more time to spend here! It was very fun to walk around :
Must visit location. Be sure to walk an extra 5 mins at the end of the track to view the rocks from the top. You can spend hours here if you want to or you can spend up to an hour for a quick visit.
Lots of places to play hide and seek, stunning views and amazing photo backgrounds. Each and every boulder has a unique shape.
A popular spot for bouldering, a nice place to see some funny shaped rocks. Visited the place in foggy and snowy weather, it's pretty exposed but definitely a good experience.
