The Kumeu Show was been held for every year since 1921, hosted by the Kumeu District Agricultural and Horticultural Society at the Kumeu Showgrounds.
Over the years due to popularity, it has changed from a one day to a two day show and grown into one of the largest shows in North Island.
With a huge range of entertainment, activities, competitions and over 500 trade stalls there is somethings for the whole family.
The Show has International Judges and offers strong competition for Alpacas, Cattle, Dairy Goats, Equestrian, Highland Dancing, Dog Agility, Poultry, Sheep and Shearing. Our highly regarded Wood Chopping event attracts new entrants each year from around the world and competitors come from all parts of the country to compete in the Shearing Competition.
Our Indoor Exhibits cater for Junior, Intermediate and Senior competitors wishing to test their ability with flowers, vegetables, crafts, preserves, cooking and photography.
