Hands down the best South Indian food we’ve found in New Zealand. It’s also the closest in taste to authentic Sri Lankan flavours that we’ve experienced here. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended!
I ordered takeaway from this restaurant and had a very disappointing experience. I ordered roti, shahi paneer, and mixed pickle. We picked up the order after 25 minutes and took it home.nWhen we opened the food, the roti was uncooked, especially at the corners, and some parts were black, which looked like it was made from very old dough. The shahi paneer was extremely sweet, and the paneer was completely melted like cheese, not proper paneer at all. If paneer is not available, the restaurant should clearly inform customers instead of serving something else.nThe mixed pickle container was filled only with oil—there was barely any pickle in it. I still have the box, and it’s just oil. We couldn’t eat the food at all.nWe paid $51, and it was a complete waste of money. Very poor quality and very disappointing. That was my second visit my first experience is also very bad last time I received uncooked naan this time I thought we can try second time we changed into roti from naan but this we as well received a poor quality food
We walked in on Friday night to find the restaurant fully booked but the wonderful staff fitted us in between reservations. The food was fabulous and the service was great. Highly recommend.
