Great spot for thermal experiences. Completely FOC. Only a couple minutes from town centre. Two foot bath pools available. A playground and short track nearby. Great for kids.
Excellent spot to enjoy the thermal water! Two small foot pools, open to the public for free. Little bench areas to sit your things. It is public though, so kids are around. There's free street parking on the east and a parking lot toward the west.
We read online that that Kuirau Park had recently re-located the free foot bath to a new area within the park. Hence, we were looking around the park and actually stumbled upon the old food bath before eventually found the newly renovated free foot bath near to the playground. If you find yourselves walking towards hot spring pools like the photo shown above, you’re heading in the wrong direction – although it is quite cool to take a couple of photos if you really walked too far away like us nnFor more on this review, visit 2bearbear today!
A great location and completely FREE. Was very relaxing and the nearby geothermal pools and well maintained gardens were gorgeous to stroll about. A very enjoyable experience for all but one thing - being free means in the occasion I visited with my partner there was roudy riff raff drinking alcohol, playing loud rap music and occasionally shouting. They were inconsiderate to the others trying to enjoy the location and the peaceful atmosphere.
My feet feel incredible! Took ages to bear the heat but so worth it. Lovely to sit and chat with other travellers while you slowly boil from the feet up. Lovely park with lots of steaming hot pools too. And it’s all free!
