The husband greeted us warmly and was attentive throughout the meal. His wife is Thai and the chef in the kitchen. We enjoyed all of the excellent Thai food. We tried a whole bunch of things: two types of curry, both chicken and tofu satay chicken or tofu on a stick with peanut sauce tom ka gai coconut soup with chicken and several noodle dishes. The decor was nice and a step above what you might expect. The only constructive criticism was that some of the dishes were a little too sweet. Maybe that’s how their customers like it but it’s best to balance the spice/heat with the sweetness. We enjoyed our meal and wish we lived nearby so could return often.
Great food friendly staff. Not over priced. Everyone loved there food.nWe will be back.nHave been back a fue times food and service is always good.nCan get busy there.nTonight I tried Kaho Soi Thai curry noodles very good.nMost of us tonight asked for Thai hot and we were happy with the heat
This was a stopover lunch otw to Christchurch from Mt Cook. Saw the 4.8 rating and decided to come here. Not crowded, which made the service fast and efficient.nnOrdered drunken noodles and Tom yum soup with rice. The reason for the 4* is because the noodles was way too salty and oily. The ingredients in the Tom yum soup was fresh and sufficient, the taste was on point and you can let them know how spicy u would like it to be.nnThey also had Thai Iced tea $7 and draft beer if you are craving for a drink. There was some parking lots 30mins in front of the restaurant which was perfect!
The food taste feel like home and the founder is really nice.
First time ordering here but thought we'd give it a go. Appetisers were great, Beef noodles good but my Pad Thai was worst I've ever had and looked nothing like the pic in their menu. Couldn't even find any peanuts and two bits of carrot, egg, noodles and chicken. Very dissapointed. The pic looked amazing.
