WHO WE ARE:
Kristol enterprises was formed in 2007 primarily for import of vehicles from overseas and compliance repairer. Since then we have achieved various landmarks in repair industry and excelled as a major compliance repairer in the area. We specialised in rust repairs / treatment, undercarriage painting and all mechanical requirements of the compliance process. We have group of engineers, panel beaters and mechanical staff to back up our claims. Our job is fully warrantied and carried out to customer satisfaction. We also have a sister company next door that does full mechanical and Guaranteed applied nation wide. We assure our customers the level of job that is carried here is second to none.

Wish I had read the reviews!!! Bought a WOF from grabone and drove from North Shore as it's so much cheaper! Got there and he said the guy didn't show up and he was going to call me half an hour ago...but didn't?! Anyway, he didn't show up, not even bothered that he had other customers who had also taken time off and driven distance to get their WOF. No loyalty to customers, only worried about what he was losing out on. Would never go back there again for any kind of service!!
Owner is such rude and disrespecting. Don’t even bother people’s time and money. Not at all organised with bookings he commits over phone. Doesn’t take ownership of his or his staff’s mistakes. Extremely poor customer service. Owner is very good in chitchatting wasting people’s time while waiting on his late running staff. Don’t even bother to refund your money for the services he is unable to deliver. Pathetic experience Never ever recommend to go at this shop.
Don't trust these scam artists. The negative reviews are all true. I will be reporting them to the MTA. Went in for a wof. Failed due to 4 fairly costly things. I passed a wof 6 months ago with no failure and I have driven the car less than 100km since last wof. I was told my upper control arm is bad causing outer tire wear, but the tyre wear is due to me using tyres from a vehicle that had positive camber, hence outer tyre wear..... Was told my R/F steering rack end has play, I have found no play in both the inner and outer rods, however I did find a fresh torn boot which they did not mention, so I think they caused the issue and are trying to make an expensive excuse and charge for their fault and while failing my wof. Previously I asked if it was the inner or outer rack end, I was given no clear answer and the wof inspector just said its the "steering rack end"....... I have sound mechanical knowledge and these guys tried to rip me off....

These guys are cheaters. Their previous or other name is East Auckland Mechanics EAM. They sell WOF deal on grabone on $15 which looks attractive, but they will fail you in WOF anyhow even if your car is in perfect condition. If no issues found in car, they fail either in Parking brake being loose or the headlamp not being in correct position. This has happened to me in last four years, first two years they failed me for parking brake, 1st year I ignored but second year when they failed the WOF I got bit worried. In third year I made sure parking brake is completely tight and but they failed the WOF in headlamp positions and told me it will take $45 to fix the problem. I denied it and and went to another automotive, where they said that the headlamp is already Ok which totally baffled me, but since East Auckland Mechanics EAM/Kristol had raised it as issue so they tweaked it a bit. Upon my return Kristol guys said to me you cannot fix it yourself because it has to be fixed through a professional as it requires a specialized equipment, I got surprised to hear this statement, I replied that I got it fixed through professionals only, didn't fix myself. Then they chat a bit between themselves and passed the WOF. Recently, I thought I shouldn't go to them, but don't know why I got tempted to go there again. Perhaps the price was of course the reason but also my thoughts suggested me that I can make sure myself first that everything is good. So before dropping by to EAM/Kristol, I visited a professional automotive who doesn't do WOFs and made sure parking brake and headlamp is already OK. When EAM / Kristol staff checked the car, again they failed the WOF for headlamp. I thought I should argue this time, but didn't do it as my second thought was that, you can't do much to these type of people. They are a mafia, they don't understand customer satisfaction or value, and on top of that waste of time. Most of these Asian race, specially Indian race people are a big Mafia when it comes to WOF in Auckland. I am sorry being bit racist here, but I am sharing my worst experience what I have faced. Though some are nice as well, but you hardly find them.
I bought my voucher from grabone for brake pads and than it all started there drama. They are the most disrespectful people i have ever been to. No business ethics and sense of dealing with customers at all. Made me waited for 3 hours to just have a look and than told me that there mechanic is not available today than asked me to come next day and told me same story that there mechanic is not available today as well worst service ever.
My mate took his car to Kristol Motors in Panmure to get his steering rack fixed for it to pass a warrent! They gave him 3 prices starting at $800 the last one being $2070.00. I got on the phone and said is that the final amount. Yes they said. The next morning they called back to say they forgot to add labour.... I was so angry I said no, I am coming to get the car. Took it to another place $135.00 including the warrent. I feel they were taking advantage of my elderly friend. Just beware.Service: Steering & suspension repair
Personally I had absolutely no problem with these guys at all. The gentleman was very efficient and polite. Had my WOF and Car Service done within 2 hours as I had work this afternoon. Very happy with that service. Could of done better with the Car Clean Service but I am not complaining as I only had a 2 hour slot. Overall very happy, thank you guys!
