I expected a lot from this school, they like to present a pristine image, but the inside is not all that they make it up to be. Especially for the school fees and high amounts of students who want to enrol at this school you expect so much more. A lot of the classrooms are way outdated, some classrooms desks fell apart and was being held together by GUM. You would also expect highly experience teachers, but you get a mix. There are excellent teachers, and there are bad teachers who are either inexperienced or just straight up don't teach. The events/trips are also lacklustre and unmemorable and are way outdated.
Boy oh Boy! Kristin School is truly exceptional in every way! From the moment you step on campus, you're greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The teachers are incredibly dedicated, making learning both exciting and challenging. The facilities are top-notch, offering endless opportunities for students to explore their passions in sports, arts, and academics. The sense of community here is unbeatable—everyone is supportive, kind, and driven to bring out the best in each other. My experience has been nothing short of amazing, and I can’t imagine a better place to grow, learn, and thrive!
Honestly, I expected way more from Kristin School, especially with how much they charge for tuition. First off, communication is terrible. There were multiple times when I had no idea about changes to the schedule, or events were barely mentioned until the last minute. It’s super frustrating trying to keep up when they can't even send out clear updates. Also, the extracurricular activities? Some of them are a complete mess. I thought they’d be well-organized with the reputation the school has, but nope, not really. And then, the pressure on students is next-level. It feels like they care more about grades and rankings than whether the students are actually learning or enjoying their time. Everything feels way too competitive. The teachers are a mixed bag too. Some are great, but others seem like they don’t even want to be there. You'd think for the amount of money people pay, they'd have all top-tier teachers who are engaged and passionate, but that’s not always the case. And don’t even get me started on the facilities. Sure, the school looks nice at first, but some of the sports fields and classrooms aren’t as well-kept as they should be. For the kind of fees they charge, you'd expect better maintenance. Overall, it just feels like Kristin is more about their image than actually giving students the best experience!!
I have a toddler at Kristin Kindergarten and my experience since the very first day with the school, has always assured me that I can be confident he’s in good hands.nnThe school ensures the child to teacher ratio allows for attentiveness at every opportunity possible … and the daily updates photos/videos and summaries of what the children are doing and learning, has been really special.nnMy son’s teachers go above and beyond for him - which some might say should be the case for a private school- but no one can buy calm, confident and capable adults who truly care. Great team culture and the careful selection of teachers who understand and make room for the BIG feelings of little people are everything a parent hopes for when they leave their child in someone else’s care each day.
