Helen has changed my life. I started my journey with Helen in November as a very broken mother of four and I can honestly say that I have found my power and every session we build on that together. We clicked straight away and she always knows what I need and I am forever grateful for her. I recommend her to EVERYONE and speak about her with pride and confidence to the people in my life.
I cannot rate my experience with Helen highly enough. I learnt so much and felt empowered and in control going into my first labour. I was able to stay calm even when things became intense. Helen's hypnobirthing course supported me through two natural labours. Thank you Helen I have also done her calm mama sessions, which were life saving when I had a new baby and was juggling a toddler as well.
I had a wonderful experience working with Helen and was grateful for her kindness, compassion and expertise. Helen was knowledgeable, experienced, and gave me a number of helpful tools as I prepared for my second birth.
I've tried several therapists and Helen is very unique. Life-changing is not an overstatement. I can't rate her highly enough. She is extremely effective with CPTSD and emotional trauma. Orders of magnitude stronger than other modalities I've tried, on par with EMDR and toltec recapitulation. Ask her for the method she uses with me. She's an excellent professional. Carries out the sessions perfectly and orderly. Easy to schedule and always trustworthy and timely. I came with a very specific idea of how i wanted the treatment to go, what things i wanted to do and what things i was completely against. I expected to be met with resistance or distrust, but instead she jumped right on board, took my views and concerns, and started constructing a way of working specifically to my requests. One of the first times ever i was able to *work WITH* someone as a team, and not me just as a recipient of help. This is empowering. She's very empathetic, and makes me feel very safe, acknowledged, and understood things i'd rarely find. I've been truly surprised by the level of attention to my worries and issues, and her capacity to remember and take them into account. She's also experienced with people from other cultures. My way of communicating was never an issue, she helps me out even when i lack words or express differently. She's always proactive, and positive about how to help. On top of that she's very very clever. More than once she has surprised me with her ideas and skills. Another thing that i like is that she can be very pragmatic and clean of ideologies, beliefs, and other mystic decorations, and focus on what works. But at the same time she's very open, non judgemental, and knowledgeable. A few times she has even recommended books or other therapist in line with my own beliefs and methodologies. In summary, it's like she's always looking for a way to help you however you need, and however she can. Quite unique nowadays. I suggest you to drop your conceived ideas about how the therapy works, because she can create new ways of working that suits you better. Specially if you have doubts or fears about going a certain way. On her site she offer a free initial consultation now that's different, i'm glad i took it because it helped me clarify some doubts and reassured me we could do what/how i wanted. By far one of the best therapists I've ever *worked with*. My hypnotherapy session with Helen was incredible, and incredibly helpful. Having spent a lot of my life trying to think my way through feelings to avoid experiencing them, I was able to tune in and feel more in one session than I’d felt in many, many months - and it was wonderful. I felt completely safe and supported. This was fascinating and so, so helpful. I’ll be back Helen!
