We believe that in order for our Tamariki to learn and develop holistically our environment must be Child Centred, Safe, Fun, Stimulating and Developmentally Appropriate.
Our aim is to provide an educational programme based on the Early Childhood Curriculum Te Whaariki which meets the children’s individual strengths, interests and needs enabling them to develop a range of skills, knowledge and attitudes.
In Partnership with Parents, our children’s first teachers, we acknowledge and value their Whakaaro, Pirangi / Aspirations to promote the Wellbeing, Belonging and Holistic Development of our Tamariki.
We promote an environment where children learn through exploration, trial and error developing co-constructed knowledge / Mahi tahi through relationships which are positive and reciprocal.
Through Te Reo Maaori me nga Tikanga Maaori we empower our Tamariki and their Whanau and assist in the development of their positive identity.
