As a quad amputee and sepsis survivor I aim to motivate, empower and inspire as many people on this journey of life to live life unlimited xx
In Sept 2012, my life was about to change in a way I could never have imagined!
Having always been an outgoing, independent, loving, hardworking, fit and healthy young woman I had no idea I was about to face adversity in it's strongest form!
I spent 7.5 long months in hospital after suffering Sepsis, multiple organ failure lead to 9 days in an induced coma and 3 weeks on ECMO. I had more than 25 surgeries, spent months in physio and rehabilitation, lost both of my legs (below the knee) in Oct 2012, then my right hand, part of my forearm and most of my left hand were also amputated in Nov 2012.
After being given a 5% chance of survival somehow I SURVIVED and I'm still ME!!!
I am so blessed to have my partner, step son and so many amazing friends, family, colleagues and medical staff in my life, supporting me through all that I have endured.
So please join me as I continue on in my journey to support and inspire as many people as I can and remember "Believe you can and you're half way there" xx
