Brought the boys lunch and no one could eat there food all there rolls and sandwiches were frozen and ended up dripping wet looked good but was yuk. fresh what is that its a shame I can’t give a zero star rating
We bought 4 pies . My grandson took the top of one and found a Blow fly in it have photoStaff person said was it in the pie ? And then said you can get another pie nothing else, not even a apology. The tables where not clean and some had dirty dishes on them. The bench under the pie cabinet was covered in crumbs. This place needs a Heath Department inspection.
Floors weren't clean food all over it, no one packing up left dishes on tables had ti clear them yourselves. Looks like new owners could be the reason for this and only 2 working.Food: 3/5
Nice and cozy coffee place in Thames, we stopped for 10min on the way to Cathedral Cove. It was not that full and waited less than 5’ for our coffee. Toilets were clean and tidy. Heaps of places to seat internally and few seats outside. Food seemed delicious and fresh. There are plenty of option to drink. Worth stopping by.
Our breakfast was great, and a very generous servings too! Service was good. Enjoyed toasties and coffee. On a very busy day, the staff did an amazing job. A great place to stop en eroute home from a wet Coromandel! Kid-friendliness: Spacious, place for kids to stretch their legs.
I regret skipping the various cafes on my route just to try this one - very angry / disappointed. I love a strong coffee and unfortunately my $5 "coffee" was just hot milk. This was due to the fact their take away cups were a large size which completely dillutes the coffee with milk. Is it so hard to order small take away cups? Food looked great though. I'd recommend getting 1/2 or 3/4 milk if you're getting take away and want an actual coffee.
Service was good, but the prices are higher than most cafes for the product you receive, $22.50 for bacon, eggs, 1 sausage, spaghetti and a hash brown
We had chicken sandwiches, way to much salt. Couldn't even taste anything over the salt but the bread was fresh. A couple of chips and 2 pies that may have been in the warmer too long. Not bad enough to return but certainly pretty average.Food: 3/5
They used to have the world's best sausage rolls, they seem smaller and half filled with mixed vegetables, yuck. Pity Parking: Plenty of parks
Lovely meal. Great value for money. Place was VERY busy because of a weather event, but the staff were brilliant. Thanks team
