Booked in for a night and stayed for 2. We liked it so much we’re coming back over the Xmas break.nTrish, Russell,Brent and Missey are so friendly and the locals make you welcome.nThe food is fabulous.nThe bar is nice and airy, the accommodation is dated but comfortable.nTo top it off the prices are VERY reasonable.
For a place as remote as Kohukohu, it was lovely to get a great smoothie, coffee and lunch. Delicious fish and chips and muscles were great too.
Dropped in for a coffee after getting off the ferry. Super chilled little place. The coffee was perfect. Chatted to a local who said the carrot cake was amazing.nReally nice staff too.
from the outside this hotel looked empty and not operating but maybe it is open? My inside photo could be the pub but closed at 10:30am .
Plenty of far north charm and atmosphere.nLocals and staff friendly.
