picture this, it’s 10:30pm. I’m rushing to Kmart to get an extension cord because I’ve just moved house and have hardly any outlets. Halfway to Kmart I find a tiny sick hedgehog. I’m not going to just leave it to die, right? So I grab it and decide to continue to Kmart to get a cat carry cage to put him in until I can get him to a wildlife centre tomorrow. I fumble my way around the store trying to find what I need, only to realise I can’t use my hands to grab it because they’re occupied holding the baby hedgehog. I find some staff and ask them to help me carry the cage, which they agree. Then at the checkout I realise I can’t build the cage because my hands are full. Luckily, the girls are happy to build it for me. So then I leave with one cat carry cage and one tiny hedgehog, and now my hands aren’t completely occupied. 10/10 service, even if I may have seemed like a lunatic nntl;dr the staff are very helpful and the $25 cat carry cage is very useful nnoh and I forgot to get the extension cord
Always a good experience at Kmart. The staff are consistently kind and helpful. Had great help from Keilani today — she helped me find everything I needed and even pointed out a few things I didn’t spot. Really appreciated it!
Greer and Ngapeta were great help at the checkout a couple weeks ago when I was here with my Dad. Needed assistance at the self-checkout about 8 or so times as we had too many items to fit into the bagging area. The self-checkouts and the limited space for your items would be my only complaint but that’s not on the employees. They were really helpful and extremely patient with us and other customers.
Cheap, staff are helpful.nHowever, there needs to be tighter rules and people need to be less careless when it comes to putting back clothes or dealing with the toys in the toys section. Again, not Kmart's fault, however there could be tighter supervision etc.nnI really enjoy coming to Kmart as they have a lot of cheap things including probably the cheapest books not a great selection though, but good enough if you like booktoknnBasically everything from airfryers to duvets to toys to clothes to jewelry.
Great place for affordable shopping with a wide variety of products. However, I noticed that the women’s clothing section dominates a lot of the space. It would be great to see a more of men’s clothes too.
