Kinsman Contracting is an agricultural company based in Temuka and has been owned and operated by Grant Kinsman since 1994. Based out of Temuka and St. Andrews, we operating throughout wider the South Canterbury area with our large fleet of 23 Tractors and Silage choppers made up of Claas, Fendt, Case, and John Deere Tractors with a specialist Claas Xerion mower tractor. We also operate a fleet of 18 Volvo trucks and trailers and 3 truck and trailer units that are fitting with V-bottom bins for carting potatoes.
Services we provide are, grass, whole crop & maize silage. Balage, round and square baling of hay and straw and can offer cartage solutions. We also buy and sell silage, whole crop, balage, hay and straw and provide dry matter and ME testing
Agriculture work includes ploughing, ripper discing, power harrowing, maxi tilling direct drilling, roller drilling, fodder beet and maize planting and potato harvesting.
We offer full time employment to 16 staff permanent staff, with an additional 30 casual staff are employed to keep with the seasonal demands of a busy contracting business.
