It’s a General Store offering one of everything you could need when the nearest supermarket is 20 minutes away - but at a price. Coffee, wine and beer, takeaways in the form of fish, chips and hamburgers, with pizzas available in the summer. Cheap ice cream for you to enjoy while you sit on the bench lakeside. Very clean and tidy, with good service.
Stopped here while on a week long hike. Busy spot. Excellent takeaway food, burgers are exceptional. Got to love the wine sales too. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
I didn't go in the store, but the views from the chairs and tables out front, out towards the lake are absolutely stunning!! Great place to stop and have a bit to eat or drink and just soak up the beauty the surrounds us. Yay for NZ I love this country of ours.
Great store down by the beach. Yes friendly staff, food was good. Nice location near the mariner, toilets and beach.
Awesome fresh fish n chips - definitely worth upgrade to tarakhi - followed up with fantastic boysenberry waffle cone. Friendly helpful staff, beautiful beachside location. Will be back!
