The first time I arrived in Milton, I was unsure where to find a satisfying and delicious dinner. I was on a low-carb diet, and it brings to my surprise, Kink and the Road was incredibly amazing. Every dish I ordered left a lasting impression.
Went for lunch. The photos on Google maps of the interior are terrible. The inside of the restaurant appears much newer in person than it looks in the photos. Everything is clean and tidy. The food is very good with everything cooked well and tasty. Decent selection on tap.
Had dinner here tonight, staying in the White Horse hotel in the same building as the restaurant. Great dinner, service friendly and professional and food was delicious. I had Surf’n’turf abs hubby had the mixed grill. Had sundaes for dessert. Bottle of Pinot Gris As it was my birthday dinner it was perfect
Was here on the evening of Monday 22nd May 2023.nJust myself as I was staying in town as part of my work.nOrdered from here the porterhouse steak with mushroom sauce and later the cheesecake for dessert.nThe steak was cooked excellently as were eggs, chips etc and a nice mushroom sauce.nHowever my problem for this place is the serving size - it was pretty abysmal.nA really nice meal but just sod all of it. The cheesecake dessert was about what one might expect and i did enjoy it, but certainly the main fell way short in respect to the size. And I don't mean you should add just a few more chips either - the steak size is my contention.nIt is on that basis I'm giving this place 3 stars.nOn the other side - the place was fresh, clean and pleasant atmosphere.nI have rated the staff - two girls 5/5. Pleasant, courteous, professional - they were excellent.n but it 'could' have been more.
Good service and the food was really tasty. For the price below we shared a bottle of good quality wine between us, had a good sized main and shared dessert.
