Since 1983 KingsWay Preschools have been providing quality Christian education and care to children and their families in the community.

Story

KingsWay Preschool has served the community since 1983. Our Silverdale site opened on 4 February 2013.

The Centres are licensed for children aged 2 years to 5 years. The Red Beach Centre is licensed for a maximum of 30 children. The Silverdale Centre is licensed for a maximum of 60 children, with two separate rooms that are able to accommodate 30 children in each.
We are committed to retaining a high adult/child ratio of 1:6.
All our staff are qualified early childhood teachers or in training.

We combine the New Zealand ECE Curriculum, Te Whāriki, with our Biblical Curriculum, giving children the benefits of a holistic foundation enabling each child to develop a love of learning. The structure of the day is organised to maximise a variety of learning experiences and to support individual styles of learning.
Both our Preschool’s foster an environment of emergent learning where numeracy and literacy are inherant throughout the programme.

KingsWay Community Preschools are not-for-profit community preschools and an arm of the KingsWay Trust, a registered charity.

Our vision is for all children to develop a love of learning through an inquiry based approach. We have an open door policy, come in and visit our centres at any time, you will always be made to feel welcome by the teaching team.

I will strongly recommend Kingsway Preschool Silverdale. My son spent an amazing year here. They have excellent management and system and allow parents to know everything from school in time. All teachers are patient, creative and always have smiles on their faces. Thanks for everything. :
My son absolutely loves KingsWay Preschool Silverdale, even when the stay was only 2 months before he starts primary school. The classes are mix aged, which encouraged kids to look after and lead a good example for the smaller kids. The facility is well established and different stations have been laid out to cater for different kids interests to encourage self-settling. The Christian faith based childcare is true to its mission statement and instills a firm understanding of the Christian faith with story telling, worship sessions, and special event preparations such as the Easter walkabout that we were so blown away by. I would highly recommend KingsWay Preschool Silverdale to anyone seeking quality childcare in the Silverdale area, and believe the other 2 centres in Red Beach and Snells Beach are of equally high standard of care and education.
We highly recommend Kingsway Preschool. The teachers & staff are exceptional, providing such a positive and caring learning environment. He has been given so many opportunities to learn and develop new skills and has grown in his ability to build positive friendships with his peers. He has grown in confidence and learnt so much. I couldn’t have asked for more in a preschool.
Wonderful Christian teaching environment and Godly teachers who are full of God's love to teach, love, and guide children.
Kingsway Preschool has some of the most caring, gentle, kind and creative teachers in early childhood education. My kids have loved their time there, they have grown in confidence, made new friends and obtained great values. By the time my son needed to go to school, he was well prepared and ready to go. I would strongly recommend to any parent. :

As a teacher, under the excellent teacher-child ratio, I have been thoroughly enjoying the quality time that I am able to spend with the children throughout the day.
This is honestly the best preschool ever. Kids are treated with so much love and patience. I cannot recommend this school enough!
