Cute little corner store with the basics and essentials to stop you needing to drive into Queenstown. We had a great coffee - even made me my snobby piccolo order without fuss… Great banter, and super friendly staff. Looking forward to our next visit.
A fab local store. Stopped here when passing through for coffee and some lunch. We were spoilt for choice and all at good prices. The chicken and cranberry panini was excellent. Huge selection of drinks and bits n bobs. Free WiFi and phone charging too
Kingston’s only real restaurant with a low key vibe and decent food. I’ve been here several times and always order the steak. The first time it was exceptional — juicy, seasoned to perfection, cooked perfectly — other times it was just okay. Not sure if they changed chefs or something. All in all, worth the stop if you’re in Kingston and looking for a decent bite to eat.
My long black was very weak! Nice sunny outdoor area to enjoy today. There is a toilet available downstairs.
Melbournian’s from Australia visiting Queenstown & Arrowtown for 5 days. We passed through the Kingston Corner Shop & Cafe for coffee and snacks on Friday 3 February. Can honestly say that it was the best coffee oat cappuccino that I had during my whole week stay on the South Island. Moreover, if Kingston Coffee Shop was in Melbourne, as a local cafe, I’d visit everyday. Fresh & delicious banana muffin, and very friendly staff. Be sure to stop for a great cuppa! Thanks team!

Good food, large portions. Great location for breakfast on your way to Milford from Queenstown. Coffee not the best, but still OK. Nice location, feels like home - also souvenir store, bar included and free wifi.
Nice stop in the middle of the ride, soy milk latte was also good
A lovely place to stop for quick before on. Staff very friendly.
