Good , clean hotel located within few minutes drive / walk to many attractions . Exceptional customer service. Rooms are with beautiful views. The only thing which I didn't enjoy was buffet breakfast. Not value for money.
Good city views from all rooms... right behind the Octagon... short steep walk from Octagon to the hotel.. NO Aircon in rooms.. bit dated, but still clean and comfortable..
Need luggage helpers but understand covid
The Kingsgate has definitely passed it's "best before" date. This is a hotel is in serious need of renovation. The brekfast hasn't changed since I last stayed here in the 90's and it was fairly average then. The lack of parking for guests is also a pain. Having said all that the staff are friendly and helpful and the place is clean.
A little bit old outside the building but the room is sparkly clean and the view from the room is awesome. Will definitely come here again!
Kingsgate is the cheaper of the group that owns Copthorne & Millenium and it shows in the fixtures and fittings however it was comfortable and clean
Perfect location , wonderful staff at Jimmy's restaurant.
Room was lovely, clean and tidy. Great location.
