Kings Plant Barn

This is my first time here. Lovely open feel and is very clean. The coffee was superb, extra hot, just perfect, staff said always a double shot, no matter what size coffee you get. My blueberry muffin was beautiful too, nice and moist and light, not too sweet. The staff are very well presented and polite and friendly. I would come here again, absolutely. It was so nice I had to have another coffee and a lovely croissant.

Chivonne and Tony absolutely made our day! Extremely professional and knowledgeable staff members with advice and guidance on how to choose plants and how to care for them. Chivonne is sweet and friendly, went the extra mile to deliver an impeccable level of service. Tony is lovely, took his time showing us varieties of vegetables that can be grown in a mobile garden and how to tend to them. Ready with a smile and hearty personality. Absolutely great experience here and the layout is meticulously arranged. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Good selection of plants, however... Be vigilant at the till because advertised discounts are not always automatically applied. For example, we selected a number of house plants at 20% off but only one out of number selected included the discount that was advertised. We had to ask for price to be manually adjusted. We also overhead the cashier advising another customer that they could not get a refund for damaged pots, surely a refund should apply regardless of company policy.

This is Auckland, New Zealand... and it's Winter... So, how is it that this Kings Garden Centre looks so good? Could it be because these folk are Gurus in the mysteries and arts of Gardening? With their strong Web presence, extensive and beautifully presented Garden Centre that has everything you could possibly need, including a cafe and knowledgeable helpful staff, Kings is definitely the Go To place for Growing Your Garden. Oct 2022; Now it's spring and I went to KPB looking for a Golden Passion Fruit plant. Oops, they had already sold all the ones they had so. .. the very helpful Staffer who was serving me called the supplier, confirmed Kings had more coming to them later this week AND took my details so she could call me when they came in >>> Real Service! Thanks Kings.

We visited this place for the first time in years, in spite of passing right in from of it almost every week. The size of the store and the variety of plants along with associated products is just mind blowing in the first instance. A huge collection of a large variety of all sorts of plants and herbs is available at all times in the centre. The staff are super nice and helpful. Ample car parking space is available in the front and the side of the barn. We had a great experience buying from here and will definitely visit again.

I like kings plants barn but I love the cafe. Great service, great food, awesome kids play area, good prices. If I go with kids I sit near the play house, if I go alone or with adults I sit around the other side

We have been to other Kings Plant Barn branches and this branch, by far, has the best customer service. Everyone was genuinely friendly and they seemed happy to see customers. We highly recommend this place for your gardening needs.

The Creamy Mushrooms were delicious. A generous helping with an added complexity of the truffle oil. The sourdough soaks up all the yummy sauce so if you prefer crispy bread then ask for this on the side.

Staff here are so friendly and willingly share their knowledge which is greatly appreciated when you don'r particularly have a green thumb! Great selection of pots and plants and a big outdoor cafe with covering is a lovely spot for a catch up.

Dec 2022 The Barn and the Cafe were very busy when I visited most recently. The staff were very busy but, were not sure where the Plastic Recycling drop off point was when I enquired. Anyway the Wonderful Wednesday discounts made up for the lack of knowledge. Had an enjoyable time here looking at plants that may suit my garden needs. It was also a present break to enjoy a coffee while here. Certainly enjoyed my visit here too. Nov 2022 Having returned to get some vegetable plants today, I got exactly what I wanted. I also notice that the Cafe was very busy too. A definite sign that it is the "Cafe" to go to when you need a pleasant place to relax and enjoy a break in a pleasant location.
