Adorable cafe with amazing pies, tarts, toasties, and more! We got the vege frittata, salmon and cream cheese tart, and chicken pot pie. The sweets look fantastic and I want one of each. We'll see what happens when we leave Food: 5/5
What a find! Passing through TK and had the car at the New World charging station. Fantastic coffee, cheese scones and doughnut with jam and cream. Got a takeaway sausage roll, those bad boys are HUGE! Can't wait to try it tonight..I'm visiting from Brisbane and the Aussies CANNOT make decent sossy rolls and pies

Decent cafe. Yum sconne, coffee and pastaFood: 4/5
Staying in Waitomo, we stopped off here for lunch. After receiving all but 1 of our meals, we questioned the time it was taking to receive the nachos. Waited 25mins for a nachos which arrived after everyone else had finished eating and had coffee. A smirking apology was all we got and gossiping loud enough to hear in the kitchen. Overall a disappointing experience for mediocre food.
amazing affordable kai, coffee and service.thanks sue and lah defs my new fave place in town
Best coffee, the way we like it..strong and hot. Friendly staff also
This little cafe is clean, tidy and renovated beautifully. Menu is simple and straightforward. Staff are friendly and polite. Points off for all the noise. The banging and clattering of coffee making and plates - couldn't hear my friend talk at times! UPDATE: I went with a friend and the noise had not changed even when we sat outside! I had ordered one pie and one flat white and was charged $13. Too much. I could have bought a pie from the bakery for $3.50! I left the gristle from the pie to the side. No prices on the food. I won't be back because of the prices and the noise, we're off to a quieter cafe ....
Great little cafe to pop in for a coffee and a rhubarb and apple tart.
