Working alongside teachers supporting and inspiring them with good practical 'HOW' and helping them to come from the heart...
I have always worked extensively with the whole centre teams and LOVE IT but I have been approached lately to do 1-1 mentoring with Team Leaders and Centre Managers/Owners so if this is helpful don't hesitate to get in touch. I have had lots of experience with MOE and ERO current requirements and am happy to tailor support to your needs.
I believe it is my job to help everyone be the best they can personally be! "to thine self be true". I am passionate about connecting in a way that supports people to see their own fabulous potential.
More about me...
Kimberley has always had a passion for creatively inspiring adults in all aspects of their 'being' with children. In her extensive experience of facilitating, Kimberley applies a hands on approach and clever use of analogy, which provides experiential learning for the participants. Kimberley has a distinctive gift in translating new concepts into simple and memorable learning.
From working as a trained teacher (B.ED (tchng) ECE) in a range of early childhood services, and through adult teaching, Kimberley has grown to see that ultimately it is 'how' adults are with themselves that is pivotal in 'how' they are with young children.
Her keen interest in respectful care of infants was originally sparked through meeting Maureen Perry, then connecting with Pennie Brownlee further fired her enthusiasm. The ensuring journey took her to Pikler institute in Budapest, Hungary to attend the Summer Course and also the Advanced Level Course on the Piklerian Approach of Early Childhood Education. This fuelled her desire to bring these profound principles and practices to as many adults as possible.
Believing that every moment can be a learning experience Kimberley continues to seek insight and inspiration. Kimberley passionately believes in the 'ideas' that she imparts, and more passionately believes in the participants to whom she offers the ideas.
