Two and a half years at Kid Country is coming to an end for us. We moved from another area and another daycare. We didn't know what we didn't know. And the quality here was so much better. Now we are off to school and have to say our goodbyes.nnThis daycare has exceeded my expectations. It's a loving and warm environment where you really do become part of the family and get to know everyone.nnThe teachers are so loving and caring. They have a great team. You often walk in on them dancing and playing with the kids. They truly are something special. They each have a special connection in a different way with my daughter. One is her daycare Mumma, one is her hair dresser and friend for chats, one is her dance buddy and knows which music to play. They all are incredible and you can tell the kids are happy.nnThe food is amazing and nutrious. We wish we could take Gilly home with us. The serving sizes are great and I've seen kids go for seconds or more! There's no rationing here. I'm not allowed to pick my one up until AFTER, afternoon tea.nnReception and management are amazing too. Always willing to help, have a chat and laugh with me.nnThe list of magic could go on. Tomorrow's graduation will be such a difficult day to say goodbye.
We have had the best experience with Kid Country Kumeu. My daughter started as a baby and we couldn’t have asked for a better centre run by a team of teachers that truely care about all the children. Maddison has thrived and I have truely felt like I have been involved and welcomed every step of the way. Thankful to everyone here.
Amazing staff, we have a daughter with quite severe excema which all teachers involved with her care have taken the time to get to know her and the signs of when she's about to have a reaction, when she's itchy and what she needs which can be creams, antihistamines or move out of the area she's playing in. We moved our daughter from a centre that the care was below average to now we feel comfortable with the teachers she has. Baby room and toddler room both have been incredible, our daughter starts in the preschool room next week and I'm sure she will enjoy her time there. Admin/management staff are also super friendly and welcoming and great communication. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enroll their children here.
The incredible team of staff have created a wonderful home from home here for the munchkins. My now 2yo son has been here for a year and a half, and my 8mo daughter is just starting. The staff are warm and friendly with excellent communication. The policies and teaching methods are exemplary and the facilities are brilliant. It has the best in and outdoor spaces, with great integration/transitions from classes to class as they grow. The food is excellent, the smell everyday when you pass the kitchen even makes us parents hungry. Older siblings can visit their younger siblings, and their previous teachers they make such great bonds with. The fees are very reasonable and worth every cent. We cannot recommend KCK highly enough. Check them out, you won't regret it!
Great day care! Very happy with everything there. The staff is amazing in all areas - we always feel welcomed and kids are cared for. My son goes there and loves it! He is 3 and this is his first big day care after home based. The food is great too! Sometimes he goes through 3 servings!!! I am able to leave him there with calm heart and he always comes back with a big smile on his face
