Clean, quite and not to crazy compared to many of the clubs in the valley. Would recommend to anyone new to the valley.
One of the top 5 clubs in Fortitude Valley. Good music with different stages for different music genres, they have 3-5 people on the bar so getting drinks is pretty quick and ball pit which is so much fun!!! Honestly overall a pretty fantastic club!
Honestly, such an epic club! The vibe is so welcoming, the music selection is awesome and the drinks selection is wide and wonderful. I really appreciated how staff handle themselves even in the face of peak times and I love the themed nights that are put on, keeps it fun and exciting! Thanks so much team!
Great parties concept. Just terrible venue management. Horrible and bad attitude security ever friday 4th nov. Security 616 tall male and female security with tattoos . The manager short male also giving bad attitude. Suggestions for events organisers to find a better venue Hey owner, read your reviews for the last month. They are all about getting kicked out by your rude security. Do your job right and reflect on this.
Never going back here. I have never been kicked out of a venue before, was not intoxicated infact was incredibly sober at this point and feel like management kicked us out because of our appearance, we were playing in the ball pit the same way the straight people were doing before us, but we were the ones kicked out. Reading the other reviews seems like we are not the only ones who have had similar experiences.
Pretty marketing with no substance beyond the door. Only one beer choice, Card only bar, security removing patrons seemingly at whim, doesn’t honour venue hire bookings even with deposits paid. Plenty of better venues in fortitude valley to throw a party at or go to for a good night. A brilliant example of mismanagement.
Don’t normally leave these reviews but had my brother’s 21st at Kickons last week and it was incredible. The staff were great, our host was fantastic, good vibes and then it was literally the best venue to kick-on at for the rest of the night. Awesome enough for me to bother writing this review.
First and last time time visiting this venue. The premise itself COULD be cool, but it immediately puts off a man cave vibe. Very tacky. And Apart from the misogynistic decor and creepy security, the attachment to a gym and the need to leave current drinks unattended if using a bathroom is a huge safety concern. The lack of regard to from mgmt towards this is shameful. Women deserve to feel protected and secure on their nights out.. as do men. I personally witnessed a woman pushed down the flight of stairs by two male security guards due to her being deemed intoxicated… if that’s how your security are trained to deal with situations then I look forward to them all facing assault charges in the near future. Your future with this business is looking bleak. Step your game up on ALL fronts or be prepared to shut your doors for good.
EDIT: after reading the owners comment of my review stating that it was in regards to a specific event I can see they have miss understood that I’m referring to three seperate events I’ve attended at kickons. Goes to show how little they care about their patrons. The venue security are always kicking people out for no good reason in the most aggressive ways. Staff are unfriendly and terrible at making drinks. There are no toilets in the venue so they make people leave their drinks unattended which leads to people getting spiked. The whole vibe of the place is terrible and the sound system is one of the worst in Brisbane, this venue is one to avoid. If I could rate this place -10 stars I would, they should change their name to kick outs.
Really hope nobody in my community continues hosting gigs there. 3/4 of gigs I’ve attended there has only been one beer available at the bar and no midstrength or light options. Security are unbelievably heavy handed with kicking patrons out of the venue. No sense of duty of care let alone humanity. I watched a girl and her partner physically abused because she had entered a toilet to help Him vommit. When you try to talk to in a civil Manner the management or security they react emotionally and start yelling at you and you literally feel like you’re going to be attacked. Event staff have left the venue to go and buy dinner and on returning have been refused entry and told they were kicked out. This place should be shut down. After 10 or more years hosting events in the valley I have never felt more unsafe in a venue, take your business elsewhere.
