My daughter attends this school. It’s not immune to the normal issues but I have found that if we have issues they are addressed in a timely and supportive way. A busy school with happy children and great staff. Thank you for taking care of my girl.
I was expelled from this school when I was 12 back in 2015. I admit I made a few mistakes but I was extremely depressed and offered no help or support. I’m 21 now and looking back I’m horrified at how I was treated i was treated like a criminal i developed extreme anxiety for years after being at this school. There was an extreme bullying, suicide and drug problem when i attended this school.
This is hands down the best school in the area. The teachers and staff are amazing, and the current principal is fit to lead. I spent seven years here and always had tons of opportunities and support available. They made things like applying to university super easy, and in hindsight, I’m super grateful for that. Most low reviews for KKHS come from students who find it easier to blame the school as a whole rather than reflect on whether their behaviour and effort towards schooling were contributing factors. I’d definitely recommend this school to any parents living north of Auckland.
This was the worst school I ever had attended. The place was a dump, the other students could be as rude as they wanted, and the teachers where uninspiring. However, I will give what little credit it deserves by say some other teachers did make a good effort along with some of the subject such as, Art, English, and math's. Although I would still highly recommend looking for another school.
I was useing the toilet and next thing i know hands come under the stall next to and they stole my shoes and they were never caught.
