Very nice area, safe beach. This beach is at Te Puru recreation park, great place to exercise, go for a walk and also has a children's play area. This park also has a skateboard ramp. Well worth a visit.
Kellys Beach is a lovely sheltered area and the playing fields and Community Center adjoining are very popular. I regularly start my e-bike rides from here. The cycle and pedestrian paths are of a high standard and provide pleasant sea views all the way to Pine Harbour Marina to the west and Maraetai Beach via Omana Regional Reserve in the east.
Perfect place to walk. Great wildlife, birds are noisy.nnRecommend
Great little creek and beach to swim in. A real gem for the whole family!
