Delicious kebabs my friends and I were on holiday so we popped in.We got lamb and vegetarian ones.Good price we were full and satisfied, price was also very reasonable would come here again if I lived in the area Vegetarian options: Two veggie kebab options of Falafel and zucchini fritters we got a mix of both in our ones
We had never visited that shop before, and wasn't sure what we wanted, and were asking questions about the menu. The blonde waitress, was exceptionally rude and abrupt toward us with her tone of voice, which we were rather shocked by her attitude. She said" Have you finally made up your minds"? We were deciding with each other as to what we would choose from the menu. She didn't seem to have any favorable customer service skills whatsoever. The other lady had a totally different attitude. We certainly will not be visiting that store in Oamaru again, especially if she's still working there. We visit many Takeaways, Restaurants, Clubs, Cafes etc all over NZ with our Business, and will be spreading the word to everyone we come in contact with just how rude this woman was, and the negative reputation she is giving Kebab King in Oamaru.
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Oamaru The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in oamaru Highly recommend! Cheers
Bought a small chicken kebab and thoroughly enjoyed it, however there was not a lot of added cheese for the extra $1.50 I paid. Great place, great location, highly recommend for anyone looking for a feed in Central Oamaru.
We came to Oamaru from Chch and thought we'd pop in here for dinner. VALUE FOR MONEY!! And the service was great! Appears to be a new guy on and was being coached, but bought out the food to our table with a warm greeting a smile on his face. The owner was very obliging too. Many thanks!

Kebab on chips was absolutely delicious and got a free portion upgrade for my first ever visit
Picture of a "large" kebab. Roughly the size and density of a subway 6 inch sub. $47 for 2 of these donars, 2 scoops of chips, 2 cans of drink and 1 piece of baklava. Baklava was super soggy, oily in a bad way and pastry undercooked e.g. chewy, heavy and floppy, not light and flakey. Go to Turkish Kebab between KFC and Domino's for a much better experience and value for money.
What a fantastic little find. I stumbled across this place on my way South for Christmas. The food was delicious and fresh, quickly prepared and there were a number of gluten free options. Not a restaurant for lingering, but a great fast healthish food option .
