Kawhia Beach

Nice little Campground. We stayed one night with our tent. The view over the Kawhia Harbour at sunrise is amazing. You just have to open your tent and enjoy. The restrooms were clean, the staff was very kind.

Very casual laid-back camping ground right on the edge of the harbour. Our waterfront studio motel was very clean and had a lovely view. Helpful and friendly staff.

A delight to find such awesome little campground all there way here. Super clean, friendly management and really close to town. Kawhai is a town tjat entices you to relax.

Unbelievable. We almost missed this spot and it was amazing. Waterfront sites, quiet, so many birds in the water. Great kayaking and could have easily chilled here for a week. Great facilities and really friendly owner who showed you facilities and site. I’ll be back for sure.
