On this page you’ll find information about what’s happening at the Kawerau District Library & the Sir James Fletcher Kawerau Museum – news, events, photos, exhibitions, recommended reads and more!
The Kawerau District Library provides access to thousands of books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, audio books, eBooks, and fun! We have free computer facilities and Wi-Fi, and paid printing and copying facilities too.
The Sir James Fletcher Kawerau Museum is accessed through the library. The Museum’s focus is on local history with photographs making up the majority of our collection. We have exhibitions that change throughout the year including in the windows at 16-18 Jellicoe Court. We welcome donations to the collection so if you have some memorabilia you would like to gift to the Museum come in and have a chat!
