Story

Life's major milestones deserve special celebration. A celebration that is heartfelt, memorable and unique to you.

I am an Auckland-based celebrant available for marriages, civil unions, naming ceremonies, house blessings, coming of age ceremonies and other life events. My hallmark is working closely with my clients to craft bespoke ceremonies that are purposefully designed just for them and their special day. How you choose to celebrate your occasion is a real opportunity, limited only by what we can imagine and create together!

We were probably not the easiest couple to plan a ceremony for. All we had to start with is that we don’t like the limelight and wanted our kids to be a part of the ceremony. Katie worked her magic and we got more than we could have ever asked for and came away with a ceremony that couldn’t have suited us better. You can tell she loves what she does and she fit in to our little wedding like she was part of the family. Thank you Katie.
Katie crafted our wedding ceremony nearly 5 years ago. I still smile thinking about what an amazing job she did encapsulating our relationship and us as people. She has the ability to make you feel like you are old friends and is such a calming person leading up to, and on the big day. So many people at our wedding commented how great she was and I have to agree. Highly recommend using her as your celebrant!!
Right from our first meeting, through to our big day, Katie put us at ease. WOW - where do we start? One week post wedding and honestly, despite the treacherous weather and flash flooding, we couldn’t be any happier. We are so incredibly grateful for you and all that you did for us Katie. Right from when we asked you in Feb to be our celebrant, you’ve blown us away, not just as our Aunty but also as the amazing celebrant you are and that you have been. You played a huge role in getting us married, your constant communication, commitment and support throughout the lead up to the wedding was perfect and it couldn’t have gone any better. So, in simple words, you were more than just a celebrant. You consoled us the day before the wedding, and made everything seem okay. Our ceremony was everything we could have asked for, you made our unique love story sound like a movie, and your special words made our day. On top of that, every single one of our guests said their favourite part of the day was our ceremony - we have you to thank for that. We would 100% recommend Katie as a celebrant, she made everything seem so easy, there was banter, laughter and most importantly a whole lot of love. Katie was constantly willing to support us in whatever was required and constantly had a smile on her face. She was so professional and has lots of little tips and tricks to make the day flow easier.
