We recently migrated to New Zealand and were in need of some hiking boots. Ben was fantastic and ensured that we got the correct type of boots for our needs. From patiently taking the time to take measurements to breaking down each boot by what he felt was appropriate for us. He's an asset to the Kathmandu team and has really started off our trip with a bang.
A nice store with good deals. Can get loads of outdoor stuff. Staff were nice and friendly. Fitting room was always full but may just because the store was a bit busy.
Went here to purchase a jacket. Summer clearance was on, so some of the prices were attractive. The store was pretty impressive and the sales person, who attended to us, was very enterprising as he was efficiently multi-tasking. The store is at a prime location on Riccarton Road, close to the mall.
Excellent customer services and awesome deals
For an outlet it's not very cheap especially when you can get stuff at same price at other Kathmandu I got a rain jacket for $50 here the cheapest rain jacket they had I got a rain jacket from another Kathmandu last year for the same price and same quality
Great store lots of parking. Looked for a kids bike and met some really knowledgeable cycle mechanics. Were able to cut down the seat post to fit the bike my child would grow into instead of selling us a smaller one he would outgrow. No extra charge. Lots of good advice on kayaks and bikes as well atbtgis store. Pleasure to deal with this team of staff.

Very bad customer service. I order the jacket and that lady said she will arrange with in 5 working days.. when we ask them about a week later she still said may be 2 days more.. then today we went to the store and the lady just try to search about the jacket in other stores if available and said she can Order from Auckland store and get on Wednesday... that mean they didn’t look this before. Never go back there.
Parking at back of store. But the parking wad locked at 5 whereas store closed at 5:30pm. So O had to park in other parking. Also the Google maps shows the store opposite side of the road.
