Story

I want to capture that raw real stuff for you. The stuff that gives you butterflies, the ways they hold you to make you feel safe, the way your person looks at you that makes you think “yeah, thats why I love them”, the stuff that finally shows you that beauty everyone else sees in you. I wanna get the big moments, the loud ones and the quiet ones, the in-between ones, the ones when you don’t think anyone else is watching. I don’t want to be a story teller, I want to be a story listener. Tell me your story, and lets create something beautiful together.

From start to finish, Kate was absolutely brilliant. Everything was just very easy and ran so smoothly. On the day, Kate made us feel so relaxed and comfortable that we barely even noticed when photos were being taken! The morning after our big day we received a sample of the photos taken. These photos were incredible and we can't wait to see the rest of the gallery. We can't thank Kate enough for helping make everything perfect. She is incredibly talented and we are so grateful that we were able to have her with us to capture our day.
From the start, Kate was responsive and provided great recommendations. Her guides and blogs are such a pleasure to read and the planning process was easy. Unfortunately covid did disrupt our plans, Kate went above and beyond to support our changes, this we are so grateful for. We eloped recently and oh boy I am still jumping for joy over our day. My partner and I received our album for our elopement in May and the photos truly gives us tingles! She is easy going, fun and full of energy. We have never been in front of a professional camera but we were both comfortable - we didn’t even have to force a smile! We knew that Kate will bring out amazing photos. We hired Kate for our Queenstown micro-wedding and we're so glad we did! Kate was an absolute pleasure to work with right from the start. Not only was her vendor guide very helpful but she was also available throughout the planning stage to discuss ideas, assist with finding the perfect ceremony location and gave us confidence that we would be able to pull off what we were planning. On the day, Kate arrived promptly and has an incredible energy that really puts you at ease in front of the camera. She was great with our guests and made us feel really comfortable during our portrait session. She's amazing... and that's without even mentioning the photos...wow! We received preview images less than 24 hours after the ceremony and were blown away with how Kate had captured our special day. If you are looking for a wedding or elopement photographer in Queenstown, look no further. Kate is a lot of fun and incredibly good at what she does!
Kate was amazing!! Super friendly and great photographer. She made the experience easy and comfortable and we are so happy with the photos. The day of our ceremony it was pouring rain and Kate approached me and said we could set aside time to do our portraits on a different better day! Which was sooo lovely! Kate is amazing! Not only are the photos absolutely incredible, she brought great energy to the day! She managed to capture the essence of the day & our personalities so well. We were blown away as both of us were worried we'd feel awkward in from of the camera but she made it fun, easy & we felt very comfortable, relaxed & like ourselves - we didn't feel the camera's presence at all. She was a pleasure to work with from our initial meeting to sharing previews the next day. She was the prefect match for our wedding day & we could not recommend Kate more, just look through her gallery & you'll see how talented she is!
Kate was one of the very first vendors we chose for our day, because we could see not only the beautiful photos she created for other couples but also how comfortable she made them feel. She thoroughly exceeded expectations, and they were very high to begin with. Before we met on our wedding day, Kate went through with us what we wanted from our photos and made sure she knew our vision. On the day she was an absolute delight to work with and added to our fun as well. The next morning she sent through a beautiful selection of preview shots which just blew us away. We could not have made a better choice in going with Kate Roberge for our wedding photographer!
Kate photographed our proposal in Queenstown and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. As I've not been to Queenstown before, her advice for the location, restaurants and how it should go down made the planning stage as stress free as possible and allowed my to just focus on me beautiful partner. Once we got there and I dropped the knee, Kate was immediately warm and supportive, keeping the focus on our love and celebration, and allowing us to just be ourselves and not feeling too awkward which we normally do in front of a camera. After a very short turn around we recieved our photos and we absolutely over the moon. Kate was able to capture every emotion and tell our story more naturally and beautifully than we imagined possible. We are absolutely obsessed with the shots. We are even considering getting married in NZ so we can have her as our wedding photographer! We cannot thank you enough. Michael & Amy
We honestly couldn't have hoped for a better photographer for our wedding day. Kate was such a gem and we had heap's of comments on the day about how fun, easy and efficient she was. Having Kate with us on our wedding day just felt like a good friend was along for the ride. Her timeless imagery and style were just a couple of the many reasons we adore her work. When our photos came in we were over the moon, our gallery truly captured the essence of the day and all the love we shared with our whānau and friends.
