Shotokan Karate Waikato was founded in Jan 2011. Over the years the club has grown into two clubs. Today the head instructor Danie van der Linde sits on the board representing the CNI under Karate New Zealand. We are proud to be part of the latest sport to be introduced into the 2020 Olympic games and already have a few active players who has both the potential and dream to proudly represent NZ at the Olympics.
