We were looking for a restaurant in Paraparaumu Beach and at 3 MacLean St, we spotted Kapiti Melt Co with very distracting gelato signs, so we delayed our dinner and stopped for a quick gelato, and we were so happy that we did! The shop is not only filled with nice gelato selections but also had very friendly folks operating the shop. The 5 of us had different flavors, but my wife and I had the berry chocolate chunks and it hit the mark! If you are anywhere near Kapiti Melt & Co, stop and get a great gelato!
Delicious flavors of ice cream avaliable here. The shopkeeper is very friendly. You can even ask for tasting a flavor before buying anything. They also have a range of beverages and milkshakes. Very near ro the beach so we can grab an ice cream and go directly to the beach.
What a great selection of sorbet, gelato and icecreams. We ventured in on a rainy day and sampled. Settling on the chocolate sorbet, plum sorbet. The cheerful girl serving was the best. Great customer service. Next time I'm getting the nacho.
Such a great gelato spot! The service was amazing — the staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to let me try a few flavours before choosing. The gelato itself was absolutely delicious, super creamy, and full of flavour. You can really tell it’s made with care.nnDefinitely a place I’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re after something sweet and satisfying!
Very yummy ice cream spot next to the beach! Super friendly, talkative and funny staff.
