We ordered a coffee cake for our anniversary. - It was delicious with a great coffee flavour. And the coffee cream icing was heavenly! Good friendly service.
Yesterday I had the most delicious, fresh club sandwiches. Great service.
Friendly staff person didn’t charge me for Tomato Sauce Quintessential New Zealand milkshakes available with all the excellent baked goods.
Birthday cake was very attractive and delivered as per my daughter’s order. Thank you. Cake had good flavour and was enjoyed by guests. Quite difficult to cut for group. I prefer that everybody receives a piece of cake with the top decoration as a part but this was not possible with this style of cake. I presume my daughter chose the cake so the above comment might not be a relevant.
I ordered a cake 3 days in advance and although the communication was great the cake itself is not at all enjoyable. The icing tastes a bit off and like plastic. The chocolate cake is also very dry and obviously not very fresh. The presentation of the cake was nice but just doesn’t live up to the taste of it.
You just can't beat classic donuts and sausages rolls and the friendly service.
I’ve heard from a lot of people that this is the best cake shop in kapiti but from my experience they provide Terrible customer service! Brought a cake from them and ordered it 3 days in advance and the icing was off! 6 people had tried the cake and all agreed it tasted terrible! The cake was extremely dry and tasted like it had been frozen for a long time I went in took the cake back and complained and they refused to give me a full refund. They eventually gave me a half refund after I had to explain over and over again how bad the cake was! The boss was also extremely rude about the whole situation! Would not recommend at all its the worst customer service I’ve had.
Thank you for the delicious Christmas cakes that you made, decorated, and delivered to our customers in December. It was a very easy and tasty way to thank our customers for their business last year. Our company logo that you were able to decorate on to the top of each cake worked well. We look forward to using your service again in the future.
Have only had the pies and sausage rolls but must say the pies are the best I have tried in Kapiti by some way. Will be going back to try more of the range. Staff wonderful.
Great people! Sadly the new location of state highway 1 has left the area a bit run down but well worth popping in to grab morning tea.
