Kaipara Refuse provides Kerbside Rubbish and Recycling in the Kaipara District
Kaipara Refuse Ltd is the Official Kaipara District Council Refuse Contractor, covering the whole of the Kaipara District. We collect normal household refuse in our Blue Bags, and collect recycling in our yellow bags.
Kaipara Refuse employ approximately 30 staff of which around half live at the Kaurilands Skills Centre Trust, which is a residential facility for intellectually disabled adults. Some of these Kaurilands residents are employed as rubbish collectors and others are employed to sort the recycling that comes back into our Kaipara Refuse premises situated at Porritt Street in Ruawai
