What an absolutely wonderful experience taking this lovely old wooden boat across the Kaipara.nnFantastic how they provide a ferry service for people and their bikes to get from Poutou Point to Helensville. Quite a sight seeing the fitter cyclists help to lift the bikes to the top deck.nnA nice relaxed ride across the Kaipara and along the beautiful estuary to Helensville.
Wow what an awesome trip. We learnt so much about the early pioneer days. Being Anzac weekend i had the privilege of attending the Dawn service . Would highly recommend doing the Kaipara cruise . Many thanks for a wonderful experience.
Awesome experience, and saved me a lot of days cycling. I recommend booking with lots of other people doing the tour aotearoa trail.
There is a short walk with a hidden entrance a bit far back from the boat ramp.nnPlease also help n protect the round fin dolphin by reporting to DOC
Very good and very friendly - took us and our bicycles no problem.
