Generous kiche serving for afternoon tea. Plenty seating space. Clean toilets. Fantastic cheese offering. Outside table dirty attracting flies. Good off road parking. Competitive pricing.
What a fantastic place to stop and have coffee and food. Thank you for the delicious breakfast! You can also buy their cheeses and if you are travelling they have little chilly bins to take them home in! A great range of menu and cabinet food.
This cafe is always nice and wonderful. The food is great and environment is classic cheese factory look with modern feel. One of the spot we will stop by when we go to Rotorua. I am highly recommend this place to everyone. VH
Love It. Chessess are great. Good flavour. Plater to share is quite big, good relation between quality and price. If you are doing a road trip you should stop here for coffee and go taste the cheese.
This place was awesome. Our meals were fabulous and the guy serving was so friendly and we had watties tomato sauce on our table. We will be back again soon
Kaimai Cheese cafe is a really nice space. I ate breakfast there and had toast, eggs, bacon, and mushrooms. Everything was cooked quite nicely and was tasty, those mushrooms were delicious. I also split a cheese plate with two other people, it was more than enough food and included both a very flavorful cheese and a less flavorful cheese, so there was something for everyone. They had items to purchase in the same space as the cafe, the products looked pretty good but I did not purchase any due to travel. I'm giving this place 4 out of 5 stars because I was hoping to tour the cheese factory but saw no information about that anywhere. The parts of the factory by the cafe were empty. Granted, I could have asked the cafe staff but chose not to.
Very nice place has a old kiwi vibe to it , the cafe is very nice inside and a good selection of different types of cheese unfortunately you have to be fast to get some of the cheese products as they sell out fast . I like stopping by here when traveling past and trying some different cheese because the quality is good, they also have a good selection of salad dressing and preserves. Good place stop by if you're close by.
Popped in for salmon bagel, coffee, bacon butty.... oh, and the fresh cheeses. Highly recommend you pop in. You won't be disappointed.
I went here thinking I would be able to see a cheese factory in operation but was told that they have switched to processing milk instead. Disappointed but otherwise this is a reasonably nice cafe but with the usual high prices.
Creamy, tasty cheese that you won't be disappointed with. Your tastebuds will thank you. Don't forget to have a coffee and snack before you leave
