Story

We make a range of exceptionally good fresh soft cheese using traditional methods. We use only the very best fresh goat's milk and a lovely supply of fresh Jersey cow's milk from Laugrange Farm. Come and try our range of cheeses at the Marlborough Farmers Market, or you can observe the cheese-making process at our factory and shop in central Kaikoura, and sample all our own cheeses as well as a range of other NZ cheeses.

If you are a cheese lover, this place is a must visit in Kaikoura. Quite a few options for cheese with reasonable price, and 'The Harnett' is my friend's fave. You can find other stuffs like honey fire bees or salami here. Surprisingly, the honey fire bees is not that spicy.
Quite a few options with cheese galore. We tried the candy goddess goats cheese and were not disappointed. The cheese is made fresh on site and is very tasty. Quite reasonably priced too and we will be back for sure. I wish they had a more cheeses to choose from.
A fantastic small producer of artisan cheeses, Kaikoura Cheese 'Tenara' and 'The Harnett' are in my top ten cheeses. Buy local people, keep these people in business during tough Covid-19 times.
Purchased "The Harnett". I'm a lover of soft cheese. This was the best soft cheese I've ever had. A hint of bite yet so creamy and smooth. Magnificent.

A small artisan business selling a selection of their own cheese , along with a range of specialty items. Worth a visit to sample and buy.
Last year we enjoyed the Tenara and the Harnett. This year there's a great range of new cheeses - Love and Fury, Candy Goddess, and a great mature hard cheese - Yum!
