We went to watch your whanau perform, Bob and Dot : our other whanau came too and she bought her mum. Bob and Dot and her mum are all 90 :. It was a really cool night with all rhe performers singing their hearts out. It was 3 hours with a 10 min break in the middle for raffles. We paid a small visitor fee to help cover the costs.
Father’s day deal today is really good! $30 for a beer and Ribs. Free dine for kids Sunday-Tuesday. The Live music is great! Service is excellent! We didn’t expect it to be fast as it’s really busy but we got our food nice and piping hot! We had the ribs, fetuccine and chicken tenders and chips! Amazing friendly staff and good vibes!
Would have liked to give higher review but this is the first time I've been back here for dinner since change of hands. And so many small things went wrong.nNo apple sauce for the pork ,nMissed all side salads to then enquire and to be told they had run out. So hadn't communicated with us about this, they ended up swapping them out for ice cream Sundaes, when received. We got dirty spoons that had butter on them.nMy daughter got nachos and they forgot her guacamole, I got the mix grill and they forgot my onion rings,nWas Just one thing after another. I've never been to a restaurant that I had to keep chasing them around for missing items on all of our plates. Also seems like there was a big lack of communication with the staff. As we got asked what puddings we were waiting for before we even had gotten seated. And once we brung up the salad issue everyone just looked at each other like noone knew what. Undecided if I would return.
During s brief vist to Christchurch, I enjoyed the hospitalty at this venue on two occasions.nGood menu backed up by great offering, well supported by friendly stsff.nGot the impression it is a well supported venue by locals.nI was told that any members of affiliated service clubs throughout New Zealand can enjoy this venue.
Been a member here for 23 years and always pop in to catch up local friends. Great food and great sports clubs. Pool,Darts,Snooker, bowls, Dancing and Raffles every Friday and Saturday afternoon. Come on down, you never know who you will bump into these days. Don’t forget to come for dinner. The Roasts are amazing and so is the sea food.
